Soheila M. Khatami is a certified Farsi to English translator of ATIO (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario) and accredited by the Canada Translation Bureau, working from Toronto, Ontario.

With background education from England, Soheila has been working in Toronto as a translator and Interpreter for the past 28 years and she currently provides official translation services in the Farsi language, for all types of documents.

Interpretation is another part of her work. Soheila is a Fully Accredited court interpreter with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Certified court interpreter of ATIO,  Accredited Community Interpreters (ACI) by OCCI (Ontario council on community Interpreters), Immigration and Refugee board, she works with number of interpretation and translation agencies and also directly with many legal offices within and outside of the GTA.

Soheila maintain a very active role within the interpretation and translation industry, a growing market within Toronto’s multicultural environment, she has taught in the LITP (Language Interpretation Training Program) program at Seneca College, volunteered in the Toronto Film festival, currently she is the president of APLI (Association of Professional Language Interpreters) www.aplicanada.org, and chair of the Accreditation tier system group of OCCI (Ontario Counsel for Community Interpreters) www.occi.ca.
